I just woke up and although my feelings will show, my incorrect grammar and overuse of the comma will be present… SO HERE’S THIS: Now that I’ve got that pesky degree, I’ve gotta work my ass off applying to DPT programs. I never really knew how expensive graduate school would be. I just don’t understand why people aren’t allowed to do what they want to do if they’ve got the intrinsic motivation to do it…. Why does money determine if I would be encouraged enough to pursue this? Isn’t my interest in the field enough? What about the yearning and drive I have to help people? I don’t understand how the world works sometimes… but I certainly want to change it to allow anyone who wants to go to school to just fucking go. You wouldn’t be in the institution if you didn’t have some capacity for understanding and motivation to learn. If you enter a center of higher learning without these, then you’re wasting everyone’s time, yours included. If filtering out slackers is what this raise in tuition and fees is all about… I just can’t even comprehend it.
